Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to clinical staff and physicians, promoting high-quality patient care standards.
- Oversee clinical operations, quality initiatives, and informatics to ensure compliance with healthcare laws and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, including fostering academic collaborations and affiliations.
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate physicians and advanced practitioners, ensuring effective team integration.
- Lead efforts to improve clinical outcomes, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
- Manage departmental budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support organizational transformation, including navigating various complex stakeholder relationships.
- Supervise and coordinate with the Chief Quality Officer and other senior medical staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in healthcare, with a proven track record of managing large physician networks or academic medical centers.
- MD degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets exceeding $50M.
- Demonstrated success in navigating complex organizational politics and change management.
- Experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME), supervising resident and fellow programs.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws, compliance, and best practices.
- Informatics proficiency and experience with clinical data analytics.
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and interpersonal skills.
