Seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Medical
Officer (CMO) to provide clinical leadership, strategic direction, and
oversight of all medical operations within the organization. The CMO will play
a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
while supporting organizational growth, provider performance, compliance, and
quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide
strategic oversight of all clinical programs and medical services
- Establish
and maintain clinical standards, protocols, and best practices
- Ensure
high-quality, evidence-based patient care across all service lines
- Lead
initiatives focused on patient safety, clinical quality, and outcomes
improvement
- Support
the development and implementation of population health and preventive
care strategies
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure
compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
- Oversee
clinical risk management and quality assurance programs
- Collaborate
with administrative leadership on policies and operational compliance
Patient & Community Engagement
- Promote
patient satisfaction and continuity of care
- Represent
the organization in professional and community settings
- Strengthen
relationships with hospitals, specialists, and healthcare partners
Qualifications
- MD
or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active New York State medical license
- Board
Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related primary
care specialty
- Strong
understanding of outpatient primary care operations and healthcare
regulations
- Experience
with quality improvement, value-based care, and population health
management
- Excellent
leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- EMR
proficiency required
