As the regional Chief for St. Vincent's, you would bereporting to theSystemDirector of InfectiousDisease andwould lead adepartmentof 4 physiciansbut wouldwith interactwithall 25 Infectious Disease physicians around the system as well.

Responsibilitiesinclude(but are not limited to):

Continued growth of the Section of Infectious Disease

Establishing communication lines with all services lines to provide support

Mentorship of junior faculty

Oversee the hospital epidemiology program, working closely with Infection Prevention

Work closely with our Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists

Inpatient consultations at St Vincents Medical Center

Outpatient office including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment,STDsand travel medicine

System-wide collaboration with over 25ID physician colleagues

Post graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students

Appointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor level

Noprimary care

Active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients

Shared call with other ID physicians

Qualifications

Qualifications -

• Board Certification in Infectious Disease
• MD or DO degree
• Eligibility for Connecticut medical licensure
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience

Preferred

• Prior leadership experience (e.g., Section Chief, Medical Director)
• Experience in a multi-site health system
