    Summary:

    The Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for the financial health, strategic direction, and operational integrity of the organization. This role partners closely with the CEO and senior leaders to drive growth, manage risk, and build the financial infrastructure that supports long-term value creation. The CFO leads a high-performing team spanning finance, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and vendor management.

      Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives

      Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans

      Develop financial and tax strategies

      Manage the capital request and budgeting processes

      Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction

      Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team

      Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team

      Oversee the company's transaction processing systems

      Oversee the company’s financial analysis and accounting teams

      Implement operational best practices

      Oversee the issuance of financial information

      Maintain banking relationships

      Manage insurance programs

      Construct and monitor reliable control systems

      Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile

      Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry

      Represent the company with and investors

      Supervise acquisition and negotiate acquisitions

    • Education and/or Experience Requirements: 

      • Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, including senior or executive-level roles at a major company or division of a large corporation
      • Demonstrated experience partnering with a CEO and executive team on strategic initiatives
      • Proven track record in financial planning & analysis, accounting, and internal controls
      • Experience with M&A due diligence and transaction management
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial audiences
      • CPA or CMA designation
      • Experience in large multi-location third party management or franchise structured business(es)
      • Background in capital raises, debt financing, or investor relations
      • Experience with NetSuite or similar enterprise financial platforms

      Language Skills:  Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.

      Work Hours: In a typical week, Monday-Friday. May include additional or overtime hours as needed.

      Work Environment:  This work is usually performed indoors with normal noise levels and minimal exposure to hazardous conditions.
