Responsibilities



  • Lead all accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions

  • Oversee cash management, grant funding drawdowns, and financial compliance requirements

  • Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring strong internal controls and process improvement

  • Direct annual audit preparation and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors

  • Oversee monthly and year-end close processes, general ledger accuracy, and financial statement preparation

  • Provide executive leadership with budget analysis, financial planning, FP&A support, and strategic recommendations

  • Administer and oversee the organization's 401(k) plan and related compliance activities


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance a strong +

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, including nonprofit finance, audits, and budget management

  • Demonstrated success leading finance teams, managing financial reporting, and overseeing complex funding or grant-related processes
