Westaff is hiring for a CFO position with a company located in Lafayette, LA.
Pay: $220,000- $280,000
Hours: Monday- Thursday 8am- 5pm
Friday 7:30am- 3pm
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
CPA license is highly preferred.
10+ years of experience in senior financial leadership roles.
Significant experience in a government contracting environment required.
Strong knowledge of FAR, CAS, DCAA audit processes, and cost-reimbursable contracts.
Experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms, including involvement in system implementations or upgrades.
Experience managing multi-entity and international operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments and with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and report on company financial performance.
Present financial results to the board of directors.
Lead financial planning, including preparation of the annual budget.
Oversee working capital, cash forecasting, collections, and credit facility compliance.
Manage banking relationships and insurance programs.
Ensure compliance with U.S. government contracting requirements, including FAR, CAS, and DCAA audit standards.
Oversee incurred cost submissions, rate development, and support proposal pricing for major projects.
Manage DCAA audits and income tax return preparation.
Collaborate with major customers to ensure compliance with administrative and contractual requirements.
Oversee consolidated financial reporting across domestic and international entities in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Manage foreign subsidiary compliance, intercompany accounting, and foreign currency translation.
Supervise the corporate controller and accounting staff.
Oversee contract review and registration of foreign affiliates, subsidiaries, and U.S. state entities.
