A local business is searching for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their growing team! The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for financial health, capital structure, and long-term strategic strategies across all affiliated companies. This role combines financial control and leadership. The CFO protects the business through disciplined financial oversight, strategic planning, accountability, risk management, and data-driven decision making while supporting the long-term vision established by shareholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Direct financial health, cash flow, debt management, and investment strategies across all multi-entity operations.
- Long-Term Planning: Translate shareholder vision into 3-, 5-, and 10-year financial models, multi-entity budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation frameworks.
- Financial Reporting & Oversight: Ensure timely, accurate monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and division-level reporting each month.
- Governance & Controls: Establish, audit, and enforce robust internal controls, standard operating procedures, and compliance with legal, tax, and fiscal requirements.
- Business Development & Expansion: Evaluate and model new business opportunities, acquisitions, and capital projects through written business plans and risk assessments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with division heads and executive leadership to align operational execution with high-level profitability goals.
- Team Leadership: Mentor finance staff and champion a transparent, accountable, and high-integrity workplace culture.
