    Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization’s overall financial strategy, planning, and performance. This executive role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial reporting, capital management, revenue optimization, and financial risk management.

    The ideal candidate is a proven financial executive with deep expertise in healthcare or enterprise financial systems, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record of driving sustainable growth, profitability, and operational efficiency at scale.

    Location Requirement

    To support executive leadership collaboration and organizational oversight, candidates must currently reside in one of the following metropolitan areas in the United States:

    • Miami, Florida

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Strategy & Leadership

    • Define and execute the organization’s overall financial strategy and long-term financial planning

    • Align financial goals with organizational mission, growth objectives, and operational priorities

    • Provide executive leadership with insights into financial performance and risk exposure

    • Lead capital allocation strategy, investment planning, and financial modeling

    • Drive sustainable profitability and financial growth across all business units

    Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organization

    • Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making

    • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators

    • Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to executive leadership

    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and projections

    Accounting, Reporting & Compliance

    • Oversee accounting operations, general ledger, and financial reporting functions

    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies

    • Lead preparation of financial statements and executive financial reports

    • Manage internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness

    • Maintain strong financial governance and internal controls

    Revenue Cycle & Operational Finance Oversight

    • Provide executive oversight of revenue cycle performance and financial operations

    • Collaborate with VP Revenue Cycle to optimize cash flow and reimbursement processes

    • Ensure alignment between clinical operations and financial performance goals

    • Monitor revenue integrity, billing efficiency, and collections performance

    • Drive initiatives to reduce revenue leakage and improve margins

    Risk Management & Compliance

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across the organization

    • Oversee enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks

    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards

    • Manage insurance, liability, and financial exposure strategies

    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on regulatory matters

    Capital Management & Investment Strategy

    • Oversee capital structure, debt management, and funding strategies

    • Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships

    • Manage banking relationships and investor communications (if applicable)

    • Optimize balance sheet strength and liquidity management

    • Support long-term organizational growth and expansion strategies

    Executive Leadership & Team Management

    • Lead and mentor finance leadership teams including Controllers, FP&A leaders, and finance managers

    • Build a high-performing finance organization with strong accountability and execution

    • Drive leadership development and succession planning within finance functions

    • Foster a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and performance excellence

    • Collaborate closely with other C-level executives (CEO, COO, CMO, etc.)

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to align financial and operational goals

    • Provide financial guidance for strategic initiatives and organizational transformation

    • Support pricing strategies, service line profitability, and cost optimization initiatives

    • Participate in executive and board-level meetings

    • Translate financial data into actionable business insights for leadership

    Financial Systems, Analytics & Transformation

    • Oversee financial systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools

    • Drive automation and modernization of financial processes

    • Implement advanced analytics and dashboards for real-time financial insights

    • Improve data integrity, financial transparency, and reporting efficiency

    • Lead digital transformation initiatives in finance operations

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

    • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related) strongly preferred

    • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred

    • 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience

    • 5+ years in senior executive finance roles (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent)

    • Strong experience in healthcare, enterprise, or multi-site organizations

    • Deep knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance

    • Proven ability to lead large finance organizations and cross-functional teams

    • Strong executive presence and communication skills

    • Must currently reside in one of the approved locations listed above

    Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

    • Experience in hospital systems, healthcare networks, or complex regulated industries

    • Strong background in revenue cycle, reimbursement, and payer systems

    • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring

    • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.)

    • Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth organizations

    • Strong data analytics and financial modeling expertise

    • Experience leading enterprise transformation or turnaround initiatives

    • Board-level reporting and investor relations experience
