Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

gpac, a recruiting firm with 30+ years in business, is partnered with a well-established company in the structural steel and metals fabrication industry in the Dallas, TX area. Our client is seeking a senior finance leader (Controller / CFO) to lead accounting and finance.

STEEL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED: candidates must have experience working in a structural steel or miscellaneous/ornamental metals fabrication or erection environment.

Position Responsibilities:

- Lead accounting and finance

- Oversee financial reporting and close

- Manage budgeting and forecasting

- Oversee job costing and WIP

- Support leadership decisions

Position Essential Job Functions:

- Prepare financial statements

- Manage cash flow

- Lead audits and tax work

- Improve controls

- Lead the accounting team

Position Skills:

- Required: Experience in the structural steel or metals fabrication/erection industry

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred

- 7+ years of accounting experience

- Experience with WIP and job costing

- Leadership experience
