The Chief Fiduciary Officer (CFO) serves as the senior executive responsible for fiduciary governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance for the Trust Company. This role provides enterprise-wide leadership over fiduciary activities, ensuring trust, estate, and fiduciary accounts are administered in accordance with governing documents, applicable laws, and regulatory expectations. As the organization’s primary fiduciary authority, the CFO balances client interests, risk discipline, and strategic growth while advising executive leadership and the Board on fiduciary matters, policy, and emerging best practices. 

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide enterprise-wide fiduciary leadership to ensure all fiduciary activities comply with governing documents, fiduciary law, and regulatory requirements.
•    Establish and oversee fiduciary risk management frameworks, including policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate fiduciary, legal, and reputational risk.
•    Serve as the senior escalation point for complex fiduciary issues, conflicts, discretionary decisions, and high-risk account matters.
•    Chair or provide executive leadership to fiduciary committees, including account acceptance, discretionary review, conflicts, and administration oversight.
•    Partner with legal, compliance, investment, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure consistent fiduciary standards across the organization.
•    Lead fiduciary training and education to reinforce fiduciary responsibility, ethical conduct, and professional standards.
•    Review and approve fiduciary policies, procedures, and governing documentation to align with industry best practices and regulatory guidance.
•    Provide fiduciary expertise in the development of new products, services, and strategic initiatives to ensure fiduciary soundness and scalability.
•    Report regularly to executive leadership and the Board on fiduciary risk trends, regulatory matters, and the overall fiduciary health of the Trust Company.

Hiring Maximum: $294100

Skills/Requirements
•  Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. 
•  Significant experience in fiduciary management, trust administration, or wealth management leadership. 
•  Deep knowledge of fiduciary law, regulatory requirements, and trust governance. 
•  Legal or Juris Doctor (JD) background often preferred but not required. 
•  Demonstrated executive leadership, sound judgment, and strong regulatory credibility. 
•  10+ years of progressive fiduciary, trust, or wealth management experience 
•  Prior experience in senior fiduciary leadership or second-line fiduciary oversight roles 
•  Demonstrated interaction with regulators and governance committees
