    POSITION OVERVIEW
    As a Chief Executive Officer - Harbor Oaks your roles and responsibilities will include:
    The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day operations of an inpatient behavioral health hospital. The role oversees strategic planning, financial performance, quality of care, regulatory compliance, physician recruitment, business development, staff leadership, and community engagement
    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead all hospital operations and strategic initiatives.
    • Manage the hospital's financial performance and full P&L.
    • Develop annual operating and capital budgets.
    • Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives (QAPI).
    • Recruit and retain psychiatrists, physicians, and clinical leadership.
    • Build relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
    • Oversee managed care contract negotiations and payer relationships.
    • Expand outpatient and community behavioral health programs.
    • Report regularly to the Governing Board and executive leadership.
    • Maintain survey readiness for Joint Commission and regulatory agencies.
    • Foster employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Chief Executive Officer - Harbor Oaks who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Chief Executive Officer - Harbor Oaks would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing, Clinical, or related field.
    • MBA or MHA preferred.
    • 3 5+ years in a senior executive leadership role (CEO, COO, or Hospital Administrator).
    • Experience leading an inpatient behavioral health, psychiatric, acute care, or managed care facility.
    • Strong knowledge of:
      • Hospital operations
      • Financial management
      • Business development
      • Regulatory compliance
      • Accreditation processes
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
