    Executive Leadership Opportunity

    We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a premier behavioral health hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving exceptional clinical, operational, regulatory, and financial outcomes while advancing access to high-quality behavioral health services for patients and communities.

    The CEO will provide strategic direction, oversee daily hospital operations, lead organizational growth initiatives, and ensure excellence in patient care, workforce development, compliance, and financial performance.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead all aspects of hospital operations and strategic growth initiatives.
    • Develop and execute annual operating budgets, capital plans, and business strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
    • Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and QAPI initiatives.
    • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
    • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing clinical and executive leadership teams.
    • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, community stakeholders, government agencies, and referral partners.
    • Manage payer negotiations, contract compliance, and business development strategies.
    • Lead Joint Commission survey preparedness and accreditation efforts.
    • Expand behavioral health services and continuum of care programs.
    • Provide regular reporting and communication to the Governing Board.
    • Foster a culture focused on employee engagement, retention, and operational excellence.
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in:
      • Business Administration
      • Healthcare Administration
      • Public Health
      • Marketing
      • Clinical or related discipline
    • MBA or MHA preferred.
    • Minimum 5-7 years of executive healthcare leadership experience.
    • Previous experience as a CEO, COO, Hospital Administrator, or senior healthcare executive.
    • Strong background in behavioral health, psychiatric, acute care, or managed care environments.
    • Demonstrated success leading accreditation, licensure, and compliance initiatives.
    • Strong financial, operational, and business development expertise.

    • Have you served as a CEO, COO, or Hospital Administrator with full operational responsibility in an inpatient behavioral health or psychiatric hospital?
    • Have you been the primary point person during a Joint Commission survey in a behavioral health hospital?
    • Have you managed a hospital with an annual operating budget of at least $20 million and maintained full P&L responsibility?
    • Have you led QAPI, patient safety, and corrective action initiatives resulting from regulatory findings?
    • Have you directly recruited, developed, and retained psychiatrists, nursing leaders, therapists, and other clinical professionals?
