OverviewA nationally recognized
electrical design-build contractor is seeking a
Chief Electrical Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts on large-scale
mission-critical and data center projects across multiple states. This high-impact role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional experienced in complex electrical systems and large-value construction environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead detailed cost estimates for major data center and mission-critical projects exceeding $50M.
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for high-voltage distribution, UPS, switchgear, PDUs, conduit, lighting, and structured cabling.
Collaborate with service managers, engineers, and project teams across multiple regional offices.
Ensure estimates comply with NEC, NFPA, and all relevant local codes.
Participate in value-engineering initiatives to optimize cost, constructability, and efficiency.
Support proposal development and provide technical input during the design-build and bid phases.
Qualifications
710+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably with mission-critical or data center projects.
Deep understanding of high-voltage power systems, Tier III/IV facilities, and structured cabling infrastructure.
Proficient with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Revit, and Excel.
Must have- Master Electrician's license
Preferred: Experience with LEED-certified or sustainability-focused projects and IT integration exposure.
