Our client is seeking a strategic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join the executive leadership team and lead the next phase of commercial growth for a privately held, family-owned manufacturing company with nearly a century of success supporting the foodservice and other commercial channels.
The CCO will drive the company's commercial strategy across Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Product Management & Innovation, Strategic Partnerships, Commercial Operations (RevOps), and E-commerce. Partnering closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, this leader will accelerate profitable growth, strengthen customer relationships, enhance commercial capabilities, and build a high-performing organization.

Some responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth and increase market share.
- Provide executive leadership across Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Product Management & Innovation, Strategic Partnerships, Commercial Operations (RevOps), and E-commerce.
- Lead and develop a high-performing commercial leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen strategic relationships with key customers, national accounts, distribution partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Drive pricing strategy, revenue optimization, and margin improvement through data-driven decision making.
- Identify new market opportunities, expand existing customer partnerships, and support product innovation initiatives.
- Partner closely with operations, finance, and executive leadership to align commercial initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Establish commercial KPIs, improve operational effectiveness, and ensure organizational alignment across all customer-facing functions.
Some qualifications include:
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive commercial leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong preference for experience in corrugated or paperboard packaging.
- Proven success leading distribution channels, national accounts, and cross-functional commercial organizations.
- Demonstrated track record of building, developing, or transforming commercial teams and driving organizational growth.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, including pricing strategy, revenue optimization, and margin management.
- Exceptional executive presence with outstanding communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced business degree preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
