About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care- Monmouth is looking for compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join our growing team in the Monmouth County area! This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing essential in-home care and support. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and document client health status and report changes to supervisory staff
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapy routines
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Monmouth County
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and reference verification
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
