Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet Inc is seeking an experienced, polished, and hospitable Automotive Service Advisor/Consultant to join our team in Waterford Twp, MI. The ideal candidate will possess elite communication skills, great patience, and high organizational abilities. We value a service mentality to serve both internal and external guests, with a strong desire to help everyone they come in contact with. No task is beneath you. Honesty, service, and duty are essential qualities to thrive in this role.

-New $30 million Dealership being built on North Telegraph (M24)!!! Breaking ground in August of 2026.  

-The Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet Service Department has not ran out of carry over work for 2+ years!!!

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, providing expert advice and support.
• Effectively communicate vehicle issues, service options, and repair recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
• Manage customer appointments, schedules, and service records with high organizational skill.
• Maintain a hospitable and professional environment ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with service technicians and management to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery.
• Approach all tasks and customer interactions with patience, integrity, and dedication.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Would be required to work Tuesday-Saturday (Saturday is 8:30am-1:30pm)
• Elite communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High level of patience and ability to handle challenging customer interactions gracefully.
• Service-oriented mentality with a commitment to honesty and duty.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
