Cherry Picker Forklift Operator / Heavy Industrial Order Selector – 2nd/3RD Shift

Location: Lithia Springs / Thornton Road / Powder Springs Area
Pay: $21 per hour + heavy overtime
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM until FINISHED
First Day: Must report at 2:00 PM; regular start time is 4:00 PM after the first day

CHASE Staffing’s Douglasville office is accepting online applications and updated resumes for experienced Cherry Picker Forklift Operators who are ready to start immediately after completing required screening.

Schedule and Availability:

• Must work until all orders are FINISHED. There is no fixed end time.

• Must be available to work 50–68 hours per week as needed.

• Current weekly hours may range from 45–68 hours, depending on workload.

• Shifts frequently run 11–14+ hours.

• Overtime is required as needed.

• These hours require full availability and cannot be worked alongside another job.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Raymond cherry picker to select heavy and bulky merchandise.

• Use an RF scanner and onboard screen to locate, verify, and pick orders.

• Maintain a fast picking pace while meeting strict accuracy and production standards.

• Meet a 2,500-piece weekly picking quota.

• Regularly lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Pack, wrap, and stage orders for shipment.

• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

• Maintain a clean work area and follow all equipment and warehouse safety procedures.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent Raymond cherry picker experience required.

• Previous high-volume warehouse order-selection experience.

• Experience using RF scanners and onboard screens.

• Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting and prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Stable, verifiable work history.

• Excellent attendance, accuracy, and work ethic.

• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.

• Steel-toe footwear required.

• Must pass a background check and drug test.

• Must be prepared to start immediately after clearance.
