Benefits:About the Role:Gabriel Domenech, MD, PA is seeking a compassionate and skilled Chemotherapy Infusion Registered Nurse to join our dedicated oncology team in Plantation, FL. Responsibilities:- Administer chemotherapy and other IV infusion therapies safely and in accordance with established oncology protocols
- Monitor patients during infusion sessions for adverse reactions, side effects, and changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication side effects, and self-care strategies
- Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate individualized patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatments, patient responses, and nursing assessments in the EMR
- Manage central venous access devices, including PICCs, ports, and central lines
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ONS, and facility safety standards for chemotherapy handling and disposal
Requirements:- Active Florida RN license in good standing
- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1-2 years of oncology, infusion, or chemotherapy nursing experience
- Proficiency in IV insertion, port access, and central line management
- Strong knowledge of chemotherapy agents, protocols, and safe handling procedures
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with excellent communication skills
