Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia - principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. Piedmont Virginia Community College invites applications for the position of Chemistry Lab Manager. This full-time 12-month classified staff position reports to the Dean of Health and Life Sciences.
SUMMARY:
Ensure quality lab experiences for students through lab instruction and student evaluation; preparation of instructional materials for labs, coordination of lab instruction; acting as a resource for adjunct lab instructors, maintenance, preparation and ordering of lab supplies and equipment, lab equipment maintenance, lab safety including MSDS materials and maintenance of chemical inventory and timely disposal.
