Chemistr y Instructor
SUNY FMCC is seeking applicants for a full -time tenure -track position to teach c hemistry beginning January 2027. Candidates should be prepared to primarily teach Introductory Chemistry as well as Introduction to Forensic Science and General Chemistry. Candidates must be committed to the mission of community colleges and teaching students who have a wide range of academic abilities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to assessment planning and implementation and evaluation of curriculum.
Qualifications
• Either a masters degree in chemistry or a masters degree in chemistry education combined with a bachelors degree in chemistry is required.
• Teaching experience is preferred preferably at the two -year college level.
• Experience with assessment of student learning is also preferred .
Salary and Benefits
• The annual Instructor base salary is 64259.
