The position is a hands-on Chemist II position with an emphasis on performing extractions, developing analytical methods, analyzing organic and inorganic compounds, conducting quality control tests, and operating, calibrating and troubleshooting various analytical equipment all related to the production of biopharmaceutical and filtration products. Responsible for sustaining ISO 17025 accreditation requirements, including trending, proficiency testing, and other compliance activities as required. Chemist II will also be responsible for conducting research and implementing improvements to products, processes, and equipment.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
This position may have supervisory responsibility depending on experience. Will mentor and train Lab Technician's, Scientists, Chemists, and peers when it comes to chemistry and GLP subject matter.
