Job Title: Chemical Manufacturing Technician I
Description: 2470 Faraday Avenue Carlsbad CA 92010
Job Duration: 5+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: $26.00/hr on W2 – (no benefits)
Shift: start time is flexible(5am to 8:30am start)

100% onsite at Carlsbad, CA
Shift: start time is flexible(5am to 8:30am start) working Monday-Friday. Weekend work may be available on an OT basis only.
The position will mainly be filling bottles, labelling boxes and bottles, and assembling fixtures.
-High school education with some work experience is the minimum
-understanding of chemicals from a safety standpoint is a positive
-looking for someone that is willing to work 40+ hours a week we expect there to be more work than headcount so OT is going to be available

The Chemical Manufacturing Technician I, is responsible for the manufacture of intermediate and finished good parts.

Duties And Responsibilities:
Follow written procedures for a variety of jobs in the production of chemistry kits, including filling, kitting and labeling
Record all work performed on the appropriate document per procedures
Bring any safety and production issues to the attention of the supervisor
Be organized and detail oriented
Perform cleaning, sanitization, assembly/disassembly of equipment.
Understand and adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
Maintain a safe, pleasant and efficient work environment
Additional responsibilities may be assigned

Knowledge, Skills And Experience:
-Associates Degree or Other Certification in Chemistry preferred.
-Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors / defects.
-Attention to detail, pay specific attention to tasks sound judgement and reasoning. Able to perform basic mathematical equations and formulas.
-Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion.
-At least 1 years of Experience in Chemical batch processing
