Job Description
The Chemical Technician supports chemical operations across a manufacturing facility and laboratory by safely handling, transferring, and packaging chemicals, as well as producing foams, gels, and other fire suppression chemicals. This role contributes directly to both product development and production activities in a growing operation, with opportunities for cross-training and internal development.

Work Environment
This position is based in a chemical manufacturing facility that develops and produces fire suppression chemicals, including foams and gels. The environment includes both production areas and laboratory spaces, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the possibility of overtime before or after the regular shift and potential overtime on Saturdays. The role will begin on a 5-day-per-week schedule and may transition to a 4-day, 10-hour schedule as operations evolve. Employees work around chemical processing equipment and follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, using appropriate safety procedures and equipment while contributing to a growing facility that offers opportunities for internal development and cross-training.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
