This is a full-time position: Rotating Shift, 6pm to 6am. (3 days one week, 4 days the following week).
Responsibilities:- Perform chemical kitting, accurately combining dry and liquid chemicals according to specified formulations and production schedules.
- Safely conduct chemical mixing in precise quantities, following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strictly adhere to all safety compliance protocols, including PPE use, respirator fit testing, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Conduct quality control inspections and tests to ensure all chemical batches meet quality standards.
- Utilize scales, balances, and other measuring equipment for calculating weights and measurements.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of mixing and kitting equipment.
- Operate a forklift as needed to support operations.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent;additional technical training or certification in chemical handling is preferred.
- Proven experience in a chemical kitting or mixing role.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, including PPE usage, respirator fit testing, lockout/tagout procedures, and grounding and bonding.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for calculating weights and measurements.
- Ability to lift and move containers of chemicals weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test and comply with all PPE requirements.
