Join the team as a Chemical Technician at a growing logistics company housing automotive paint, where you’ll enjoy great benefits, a supportive work environment, and unlimited opportunities for advancement.

This is a full-time position: Rotating Shift, 6pm to 6am. (3 days one week, 4 days the following week).
Responsibilities:
  • Perform chemical kitting, accurately combining dry and liquid chemicals according to specified formulations and production schedules.
  • Safely conduct chemical mixing in precise quantities, following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety compliance protocols, including PPE use, respirator fit testing, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and tests to ensure all chemical batches meet quality standards.
  • Utilize scales, balances, and other measuring equipment for calculating weights and measurements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of mixing and kitting equipment.
  • Operate a forklift as needed to support operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent;additional technical training or certification in chemical handling is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a chemical kitting or mixing role.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, including PPE usage, respirator fit testing, lockout/tagout procedures, and grounding and bonding.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for calculating weights and measurements.
  • Ability to lift and move containers of chemicals weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test and comply with all PPE requirements.
