    Job Summary

    A Chemical Technician with 5 to 10 years of experience is responsible for assisting chemists in performing technical, analytical, and operational services essential to the functioning of a Combined Cycle Power Plant and Combustion Turbine Facility.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work safely and ensure accountability for personal and coworker safety.
    • Operate and maintain chemical systems and equipment within the facility.
    • Conduct chemical analyses on water, fuel, and other substances to ensure compliance with operational and environmental standards.
    • Monitor and adjust chemical treatment processes to optimize plant performance.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of chemical usage, test results, and equipment status.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve chemical-related issues in collaboration with engineers and plant operators.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals.
    • Assist in equipment inspections and maintenance, ensuring proper functioning of laboratory and chemical systems.
    • Support operational teams by providing expert chemical analysis and recommendations.

    Qualifications

    • 5 to 10 years of experience in chemical analysis, laboratory testing, or power plant operations.
    • Strong knowledge of chemical processes, water treatment, and industrial safety protocols.
    • Proficiency in analytical testing methods and instrumentation.
    • Experience working in a power generation facility (preferred).
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
