  • Monitor chemical delivery equipment, pumps, valves, filtration systems, piping networks, and associated process support equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities on chemical systems and equipment.
  • Assist with equipment installation, startup, commissioning, testing, and qualification activities.
  • Conduct system inspections, leak checks, operational verifications, and routine equipment assessments.
  • Follow chemical handling procedures, SOPs, lockout/tagout requirements, and semiconductor safety protocols.
  • Support chemical transfers, chemical changeovers, and material handling activities while maintaining strict safety standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, testing equipment, meters, and diagnostic instruments to perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Document maintenance activities, system performance data, inspections, repairs, and operational issues.
  • Escalate equipment failures, safety concerns, process abnormalities, or system alarms to supervisors and engineering teams.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, vendors, and customer representatives to support project execution and system reliability.
  • Maintain cleanroom standards and support 5S initiatives throughout work areas.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Chemical Technology, Process Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to follow technical procedures, work instructions, safety protocols, and operating procedures.
  • Comfortable working around industrial chemicals and semiconductor process systems.
  • Ability to work safely in cleanroom, manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, and lift materials in an active industrial environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with semiconductor chemical delivery systems, bulk chemical systems, or high-purity process systems.
  • Knowledge of pumps, valves, piping systems, filtration equipment, flow controls, instrumentation, and chemical process equipment.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, or startup activities.
  • Semiconductor fab, cleanroom, chemical plant, pharmaceutical, water treatment, industrial manufacturing, or facilities experience.
  • Familiarity with hazardous chemical handling, SDS requirements, and chemical safety procedures.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, controls, or automated process systems.
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, LOTO, or other industrial safety certifications preferred.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, process flow diagrams, equipment drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin skills preferred but not required.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Safety-focused and detail-oriented.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working around chemical process systems and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn advanced process technologies.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced project environment.
