Chemical Process Equipment Operator
A day in this role
You start your shift by suiting up in full PPE and confirming your respirator fit — clean shaven to ensure a proper seal. You review formula cards and batch tickets, calibrate your scales, and stage raw materials. With mixers, dryers, and coaters humming, you measure and load precise chemical weights, monitor temperatures and processing conditions, and guide each batch through correct heating and cooling cycles. You keep the area spotless, record results, validate batch reports for accuracy, and reference Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) so every step is safe and compliant.
