Job Description

Support daily manufacturing operations by troubleshooting process issues and partnering directly with production personnel to resolve technical challenges.

Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, safety, and operational efficiency.

Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and operator training materials.

Measure process capability, product quality, and production yields utilizing statistical process control methodologies.

Investigate downtime events, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Support new product introduction efforts from development through full-scale commercialization and production handoff.

Collaborate with R&D, engineering, maintenance, quality, and operations teams to establish and implement best practices.

Ensure management of change processes are properly communicated and executed throughout the facility.

Partner with engineering teams to support safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant manufacturing operations.

Manage operational projects and initiatives under the guidance of plant leadership.

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial production environments.

Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid flow, pumps, piping systems, and instrumentation.

Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes and driving process improvements.

Ability to interpret P&IDs, process schematics, and technical documentation.

Hands-on approach with the ability to build strong relationships across operations and maintenance teams.

Experience supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Familiarity with statistical process control and process capability analysis.

Experience in continuous chemical processing environments is highly preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

GMP experience, programming experience, and TWIC eligibility are considered strong advantages.
