    About our Client:
    Our client is a rapidly growing specialty chemical manufacturer whose products support advanced coatings, adhesives, electronics, telecommunications, and other high-growth industrial markets. The organization is investing heavily in new product introductions, manufacturing capacity expansion, and long-term technical leadership.

    Today, the facility manufactures more than twenty commercial products, with numerous additional product introductions and technology transfer projects planned over the coming years.

    To support future demand, the organization is currently investing in expanded infrastructure, including additional warehousing capacity, administrative facilities, and future production assets. Engineering investments already under evaluation include additional reactor capacity and manufacturing expansion projects designed to significantly increase output over the next several years.

    Your Role:

    ·Lead and support new product introductions from laboratory and pilot environments into full-scale commercial production

    ·Help commercialize multiple planned product transfers and manufacturing launches over the coming years

    ·Become a technical resource supporting existing commercial product lines while helping establish future production capabilities

    ·Work closely with operations teams to troubleshoot production issues, improve reliability, and optimize plant performance

    ·Drive initiatives focused on throughput improvements, cycle-time reduction, yield optimization, and overall equipment utilization

    ·Assist with evaluation, startup, and optimization of new manufacturing assets and future production capacity expansions

    ·Develop and maintain technical documentation, batch procedures, operating standards, and process control practices

    ·Support process safety, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and management-of-change activities

    ·Collaborate with technical teams, production leadership, maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions to successfully commercialize new products and improve existing operations


    What Does Success Look Like?

    Within your first 12-24 months, you'll be expected to:

    ·Become a key technical resource for multiple commercial product lines

    ·Support several new product commercialization and technology-transfer projects

    ·Develop a deep understanding of manufacturing operations and process capabilities

    ·Partner closely with production leadership to improve efficiency and reduce process variation

    ·Contribute to facility expansion and future capacity projects

    ·Position yourself as a future subject matter expert and potential technical leader within the organization

    Your Background:

    ·Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering

    ·Process engineering or chemical manufacturing experience

    ·Hands-on manufacturing experience

    ·Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    ·Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies

    ·Ability to work effectively with production personnel and cross-functional teams

    ·Strong communication and technical documentation skills

    Preferred Experience:

    ·Specialty chemicals

    ·Batch processing

    ·Pilot plant operations

    ·Process scale-up

    ·New product commercialization

    ·Capital projects

    ·Statistical analysis or DOE methodologies
