Position Summary:The Chemical Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, commissioning, and optimizing plating processes and production lines. This role leads the startup of new plating lines, ensures process stability, maintains chemical performance, and drives continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lead the installations, setup, and commissioning of new plating linesDevelop process parameters and operating proceduresDevelop and optimize plating processesManage chemical inventory proceduresImplement root cause analysis and corrective actionsEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NADCAP, and local environmental regulationsOversee wastewater treatment and chemical handling proceduresDevelop standard operating procedures for plating processes Qualifications:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Often he or she will spend a significant amount of time out in the plant working with operators.
