Chemical Plant Operator

Production Operator
7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am (Will rotate from day to night every 30 days)
(may be needed on other shifts occasionally)
Rotating schedule - 4 days on, 4 days off

Responsibilities

• Taking samples of liquid materials from various locations in the plant.
• Bringing samples into laboratory and conducting testing (titrating samples, using hydrometer and/or refractometer).
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP's) for obtaining lab sample results.
• Walking the plant and notating any piping, valves, or general work areas in need of attention (using a written walk-sheet as a guide).
• Assisting with loading trucks as needed using mechanical attachments.

All other duties will be maintenance and mechanical-based - cleaning up work areas, tightening valves, painting pipes, and any other maintenance or mechanical work in the plant that needs to be completed.
