Position Overview:
The Chemical Operator will perform manufacturing batch processing activities in accordance with established procedures to support the production, packaging, and handling of materials. This role supports manufacturing operations within the semiconductor industry and requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe working environment and participate in all required safety programs, training, and activities.
• Follow established operating procedures and safety practices to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
• Handle hazardous raw materials and finished products using appropriate safety precautions.
• Operate and perform field checks on process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment, and DCS/DeltaV control systems.
• Follow direction from area leads and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
• Perform routine manufacturing activities, including labeling, forming and filling boxes, and moving materials and equipment.
• Support batch production, packaging, and material handling activities.

Work Environment:

• Work in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Potential exposure to odors, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemicals, and other industrial conditions.
• Required to wear designated personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include hard hats, safety goggles, gloves, respirators, and cleanroom garments.
• Work in a restricted electrically classified area where flammable and combustible materials are used.

Physical Requirements:

• Light to moderate physical effort required.
• Standing and walking for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
• Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
• Daily bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Occasional work at table level and overhead.
• Ability to wear required PPE throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing and/or cleanroom experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and hardworking.
• Ability to follow written procedures and established safety protocols.
