Qualifications: This opening is for ONE Mixing Technician, 2nd Shift: 2 - 10pm with a paid 30-minute meal break. Training for the position may take place during 1st shift hours (6am - 2:30pm) for approx. 1 - 3 weeks.
Responsibilities: Mixing Technician (Chemical Operator) ROLE DEFINITION As a Mixing Technician (Chemical Operator) you will be responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient mixing of batches of chemical materials by adding raw materials into a mixing pot. This role requires a moderate amount of overtime throughout the week and sometimes on Saturdays. RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION • Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do: • Adhere to quality and safety systems and standards • Handle hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precaution • Monitor process conditions and equipment • Participate in the creation and the maintenance of a clean work area JOB QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • High School education or GED equivalent is required. • Experience operating a fork truck is a plus • Experience working in a manufacturing environment or clean room is preferred • Willing and able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required • Willing and able to work in a restricted, electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materials • Able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
