Job Title: Chemical Operator - Flavors (1st shift & 2nd shift)

The Extraction Technician1 is responsible for safely achieving production demands and quality requirements within a defined time-frame, from preparation to filling, while remaining compliant with hygiene, HACCP and work safety guideline.
Your Role:

- Demonstrated ability to accurately take and document Extractions equipment readings
- Understanding of proper storage containers and ability to accurately pull and store product
- Perform proper mixing and sampling procedures of Extraction production products
- Ability to Operate Vacuum pump
- Basic understanding of Process Instructions(PI) for Extractions Department Equipment.
- Proven ability to remain organized and on track while running multiple Extraction Operations.
- Basic understanding of Extraction Equipment and Operation
- Demonstrated ability to clean the Extraction departments equipment to GMP standards.
- Demonstrated Knowledge of RM handling
- Basic knowledge of Processing parameters
- Ability to start up, operate and shut down Extraction Equipment
- Utilities Training
Your Profile:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing / production environment
- Must be proficient in the use of equipment such as flow meters, scales, steam lines, chart recorders, agitators, pumps, valves, and batch tanks
- Must be able to read and understand PI sheets
- Must be able to read and follow a production schedule
