SMS Staffing Is Hiring Immediately For Chemical Operators!JOB TITLE: Chemical OperatorJOB LOCATION: North Chicago, ILJOB TYPE: Temp to HirePAY: $18-$20/Hr. 1ST SHIFT:9:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Monday - Thursday)Multiple PositionsAbout the Chemical Operator Role: Operate a forklift Label and fill drums Use a wide variety of pumps and hoses to fill tanks and tank trucks Correctly fill out manufacturing paperwork and checklists Keep work areas clean and neat Follow all safety policies Execution of activities as assigned Responsibilities involving food safety, when requiredQualification Requirements: Read and write English Have basic math capabilities Feel comfortable working around chemicals Must be able to pass a background checkSpecial Circumstances: Must be able to work overtime, as needed Must be able to wear safety equipment (i.e., respirators, gloves, acid suit, goggles, and steel-toed work boots/shoes) May be required to work outdoors May involve heavy lifting and climbingJoin the SMS Team!It takes more than top-notch facilities, modern equipment, and innovative technologies to become our customers’ most trusted supplier.
