Pro Resources is hiring a Chemical Maintenance Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing operation in Lafayette, IN. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong plating chemistry and hazardous materials experience who’s ready to take ownership of chemical processes, compliance, and team performance.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead and support daily chemical maintenance operations, including batch treatments and tank change-outs
Supervise chemical maintenance technicians and collaborate with production teams
Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and hazardous waste regulations
Manage chemical inventory, storage, and material handling
Oversee filtration systems and chemical equipment across production lines
Perform and document waste inspections (daily/weekly/monthly)
Maintain safe work practices, PPE compliance, and housekeeping standards
Assist with production supervision coverage as needed
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in chemical maintenance, plating, or industrial chemical processes
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong understanding of plating tank chemistry and waste handling
Experience with hazardous materials and regulatory compliance
Certifications (Strongly Preferred):
RCRA
HAZWOPER
DOT / IATA
Class C Wastewater License
CEF (plus)
Additional Skills That Set You Apart
Experience with pumps, plumbing, filtration systems, or PLCs
Confined Space & Lockout/Tagout knowledge
Forklift experience
Schedule & Expectations
Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Overtime as needed
One Saturday per month required
Must be flexible to assist with off-shift coverage when needed
