Chemical Handler / Operator

Location: Lakeland, FL
Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hour
Schedule: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM | 7 days on / 7 days off
Training Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM during training

Job Summary

Nesco Resource is hiring Chemical Handlers for a growing Lakeland operation. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for competitive pay, a 7-on/7-off schedule, and a hands-on career in chemical processing and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with distillation and chemical blending
• Operate pumps, hoses, valves, and processing equipment
• Perform warehouse and material-handling duties
• Operate a forklift as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and operating instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete required safety training
• Wear all required PPE

Requirements

• Manufacturing, warehouse, chemical processing, or industrial experience required
• Distillation experience required
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts
• Comfortable working a 7-on/7-off schedule
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Safety-minded with good attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team
