A day in the life — New Kensington, PA
You arrive on shift, review the day’s batch formulas, and stage raw materials for the next run. You’ll connect to tanker trucks, railcars, or barges to receive bulk chemicals, verify lot numbers, and document every transfer. As blends progress, you sample and check specs, make precise adjustments, and record results. Finished products are loaded to outbound tankers and other transport equipment. Throughout the day you’ll operate forklifts, inspect tanks and piping, keep work areas orderly, and follow strict safety, PPE, and environmental procedures. When issues pop up, you help troubleshoot to keep production on schedule.
