Description
ArroChem is an ISO 9001 certified specialty chemical manufacturer in Mount Holly, NC, specializing in custom blending, private label manufacturing, and repackaging. We are seeking an experienced Chemical Batch Maker with at least 3 years of chemical blending experience to join our team.
This full time position offers first shift hours, pay commensurate with experience, paid holidays, vacation, health insurance, and a retirement savings plan. We provide on the job training on our products, equipment, and procedures. You will work closely with our Production Manager and Quality Control team, with opportunities to expand your skills and contribute directly to the quality of the products we manufacture.
This role involves chemical blending and mixing using established formulas, not chemical reaction processing.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Accurately locating, weighing, and blending raw materials according to formulas and batch instructions.
• Safely operating mixing tanks, pumps, hoses, and related production equipment.
• Completing batch tickets and maintaining accurate records of material usage and remaining inventory.
• Collecting samples and working with Quality Control to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Cleaning and inspecting equipment and containers to prevent contamination.
• Following chemical handling procedures, wearing required protective equipment, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Promptly reporting production issues and working with the team to resolve them.
Forklift experience and experience working in an ISO 9001 environment are a plus.
Qualifications
• At least 3 years of experience as a batch maker in chemical blending.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written formulas, accurately weigh and measure materials, and complete production records.
• Experience safely handling chemicals and operating mixing tanks, pumps, and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment preferred.
Training is provided on ArroChem’s specific products, equipment, and procedures.
