We need a reliable customer focused taxi/chauffer driver to join our team. We are a new company in Stillwater, Oklahoma focused on customer service and affordability. You will be responsible for picking up passengers, navigating urban routes through GPS monitoring and provide fun, safe transportation for all ages while keeping the provided vehicle clean and well maintained.
Job Responsibilities
- Pick up and transport passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations.
- Drive customers to homes, airports, businesses, and/or other locations safely and on time.
- Route planning. Use GPS or local street knowledge to find fastest and safest routes to avoid heavy traffic.
- Customer Service: greet passengers warmly, assist with luggage or heavy packages, answer questions about local venues and give clear information to passengers.
- Collect fares: operate taxi reservation system and use at base payment procedures accurately.
- Vehicle upkeep: inspect car daily for fluids, lights, tire pressure, and keep clean interior and exteriors.
Qualification Skills and Requirement
- Valid state Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Be able to acquire local or state permits as may be required.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact politely and professionally with public and passengers.
- Have good knowledge of local routes and short cuts.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to speak fluent English. Other languages are a plus.
