Lincoln Tech's WorkforceLinc Division, in partnership with Container Maintenance Corporation (CMC) and Lincoln College, is seeking an experienced Chassis & Trailer Technician Instructor to help train the next generation of technicians.

No teaching experience required. If you've built your reputation in the shop and enjoy helping others learn, we'll help you make the transition.

Charleston, SC

Monday-Friday

Up to 50% regional travel

What You'll Do

• Teach hands-on chassis and trailer repair
• Train students on air brakes, electrical, suspension, wheel-end, and welding fundamentals
• Demonstrate troubleshooting, diagnostics, and safe work practices
• Coach students through real-world shop tasks
• Maintain a safe, professional training environment

What You'll Bring

Chassis, trailer, container, or heavy equipment experience

Hands-on welding experience

Strong knowledge of:

• Air brake systems
• Trailer and chassis electrical systems
• Suspension systems
• Wheel-end components

Safety-first mindset and strong communication skills

Ability to mentor and develop future technicians

Ability to obtain a TWIC Card

Willingness to travel regionally

Teaching experience is not required. Industry credibility, patience, and pride in the trades are.

Bonus Skills

• IICL and/or FMCSA knowledge
• Reefer unit experience
• Generator maintenance experience
