The Charter Operations Specialist supports the day-of-operations execution of Breeze’s charter flights, working alongside the Charter Operations team and On-board Charter Representatives (OCRs) to deliver safe, on-time, and seamless service for our charter clients. Reporting to the Manager of Charter Operations, the Specialist serves as an operational point of contact for assigned charter trips, coordinating logistics, monitoring flights from origin to destination, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders in compliance with FAA and TSA regulations. An exceptional candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, brings a data-driven mindset, and understands best practices in airline charter operations.Serve as an operational point of contact and subject-matter resource for assigned charter flights, supporting day-of-operations execution alongside the Charter Operations team and On-board Charter Representatives (OCRs)
Coordinate charter triplogisticsfrom origin to destination, including ground handling, catering, fueling, landing and overflight permits, and crew ground transportation
Monitor and flight-follow charter flights in progress, proactivelyidentifyingoperational issues and supporting irregular operations (IROP) management and recovery plans
Communicate clearly andtimelywith internal stakeholders (IOCC, Charter Sales, Crew Scheduling, and other operational groups) to relay trip-specific priorities and status
Communicate professionally with external stakeholders (clients, brokers, vendors, and business partners) to understand and support their operational charter needs
Maintainaccuratetrip records and documentation, andassistwith charter invoice reconciliation and cost-savings initiatives as directed
Follow standard work and partner with Safety and Security to ensure compliance and adherence to FAA, TSA, and other federal regulations and guidelines
Provide operational support outside of normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed to cover day-of-operations
Achieve performance measures and adhere toestablishedstandards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
May be assignedadditionalduties and responsibilities as directed by the Manager of Charter Operations
High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
3+ years of experience in the airline industry with Customer Service and Ramp Operation knowledge
Must pass a Criminal Background Check and DOT drug test
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with charter clients
More than 50%travel will be required
Must be people oriented, highly motivated with a positive and friendly attitude
Must be available to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays and must be able to stay late for irregular operations with an ability to work efficiently under time constraints
Must be well groomed and adhere to dress code policy
Must successfully complete all practical and written training
Airline charter operations experience
Excellent computer skills with functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, make decisions, and meet deadlines
Ability to read and understand complex documents and rewrite the information in simpler terms
Ability to work from concepts to create completed works
Ability to serve as a liaison between other areas of the company
Ability to work as a Team Member with a strong customer service orientation
Ability to work with confidential material
Ability to travel often
