My client is seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager who is ready to take the next step toward becoming a Project Manager within the next 1-2 years. Description
- Assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously, often ranging from renovations and tenant improvements to healthcare and commercial upgrades
- Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution activities
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal project teams
- Prepare and review project pricing, change orders, and cost tracking reports
- Help develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates
- Contribute to estimating, operations, and project management responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and problem-solving
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget
Profile
- Experience supporting construction projects valued up to $10M
- Background in commercial construction, renovations, healthcare, retail, tenant improvement, industrial, or occupied-space projects
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Proficiency with project management and construction software tools
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role in the near future
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
