Description

My client is seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager who is ready to take the next step toward becoming a Project Manager within the next 1-2 years. This role offers exposure to multiple fast-paced construction projects, significant client interaction, and the opportunity to develop both operational and financial management skills.

Description

  • Assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously, often ranging from renovations and tenant improvements to healthcare and commercial upgrades
  • Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution activities
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal project teams
  • Prepare and review project pricing, change orders, and cost tracking reports
  • Help develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates
  • Contribute to estimating, operations, and project management responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and problem-solving
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget

Profile

  • Experience supporting construction projects valued up to $10M
  • Background in commercial construction, renovations, healthcare, retail, tenant improvement, industrial, or occupied-space projects
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software tools
  • Desire to grow into a Project Manager role in the near future
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
