Chargemaster Analyst, Revenue Integrity/Coding Admin, Flexible Hours, Days- Fully Remote

Will coordinate with clinical departments to assign appropriate Billing Categories to ensure appropriate revenue allocation, as well as the assignment of the appropriate HCPCS codes, to identify supply usage. Will coordinate with clinical departments, charge entry staff, finance, information services and others to provide education regarding charge capture processes, in order to ensure compliance with Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for maintaining the completeness of the Charge Description Master. Will coordinate with clinical departments to assign appropriate Billing Categories to ensure appropriate revenue allocation, as well as the assignment of the appropriate HCPCS codes, to identify supply usage. Will coordinate with Revenue Integrity Department to implement annual coding changes according to payer guidelines. Will coordinate with clinical departments, charge entry staff, finance, information services and others to provide education regarding charge capture processes, in order to ensure compliance with Federal guidelines. Creates and routinely produces reports for auditing, testing and data mining for Revenue Integrity activities. Will coordinate with MedAssets to ensure accuracy of data submitted regarding patient charges and pricing.

 

**This role offers a work from home option. Initial training will take place at a Norton Healthcare facility, and you must be available to come onsite for business needs as required. Employees in this position must reside in Kentucky or Indiana.**
