About the Role

Easy Pay Direct is looking for a Channel Sales Director to build and run our partner channel. Reporting directly to the CEO, youll secure strategic partnerships that generate leads, drive revenue, and build brand awareness.

The focus is embedded payments. Youll sell embedded payment solutions to partners and speak confidently about the technical side of software integrations, including API implementation.

Youll target three partnership verticals: integration partners, meaning ISVs and SaaS platforms such as CRMs or marketing automation tools that integrate payments; professional services firms, such as CPA firms, law firms, marketing agencies, and software developers with aligned target audiences; and influencers, thought leaders with entrepreneurial followings who can promote our solutions and drive demand.

As EPD Commerce connects products, checkout, subscriptions, payments, revenue recovery, and agentic flows in one system, youll position Easy Pay Direct and EPD Commerce as the infrastructure partners customers need to sell and get paid as AI agents begin to transact.

This role can be remote or based in our East Austin office.

Quick Snapshot

• Location: Remote or Onsite in East Austin, TX
• Compensation: Starting base salary of $101,000 plus bonus incentives (1st year OTE $150,000; 2nd year OTE $225,000)
• Reports To: CEO
• Experience Requirement: 5-10 years of experience managing embedded payment partnerships and driving partner activation (payments industry experience required)

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, youll:

• Work with the CEO to define and launch a partner channel strategy with clear success metrics.
• Sign new partnerships across integration partners, professional services firms, and influencers.
• Move new partners from identification through integration to active, engaged users.
• Grow and strengthen existing partner relationships.
• Build scalable partner and referral programs that support a growing network.
• Develop best practices and case studies that keep partners engaged.
• Track partnership performance, resolve issues quickly, and improve outcomes.

What Youll Do

• Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement strategies for expanding the partner channel.
• Identify, solicit, negotiate, and close new partnerships, and manage and grow existing partner relationships.
• Oversee the entire partner process, from identification and integration to user engagement and activation.
• Develop and share best practices and case studies to support ongoing partner engagement.
• Define and track success metrics, taking full ownership of partnership outcomes.
• Build and manage scalable programs to support the growing partner network.
• Represent Easy Pay Direct at events and public speaking engagements as needed.
• Monitor partnership performance, resolve issues, and optimize outcomes.

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience managing embedded payment partnerships and driving partner activation efforts.
• Payments industry experience.
• Familiarity with API implementation and software integrations.
• Experience sourcing and managing partnership or referral programs.
• A proven ability to drive channel partnerships forward with energy and initiative.
• Skill in building frameworks for complex deals and evaluating new business opportunities.
• Ambition and excellent communication skills across text, voice, and face-to-face channels.
