    Description

    A fast-growing electronic manufacturer is seeking a Channel Performance Manager to serve as the analytical engine behind channel growth initiatives within the company. The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem-solver with a strong background in sales analytics, retail channel performance, and executive-level reporting. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the new hire will transform sales, inventory, and performance data into actionable insights that drive measurable revenue growth, improved attach rates, and optimized inventory velocity across regions.

    Salary + Additional Benefits:
    • $65,000–$73,000 + Bonus/Commission

    Location: Houston, TX
    Type of Position: Direct Hire

    Responsibilities:
    Performance Analytics & Dashboard Management
    • Own and maintain the performance dashboard (Excel and/or BI platform).
    • Monitor district-level quota attainment and store-level productivity.
    • Track month-over-month growth, attach rates, and SKU performance.
    • Deliver structured weekly and monthly performance summaries to leadership.
    Store Segmentation & Growth Analysis
    • Manage dynamic store classification models (Top Tier, Mid Tier, Underperforming).
    • Identify promotion/demotion opportunities based on performance KPIs.
    • Recommend targeted interventions for mid-tier growth acceleration.
    Inventory & Velocity Optimization
    • Monitor sell-through vs. purchasing patterns.
    • Ensure compliance with 30–45 day inventory turn targets.
    • Identify slow-moving SKUs and overstock risks.
    • Coordinate insights with purchasing and operations to improve efficiency.
    Incentive & Program Measurement
    • Analyze the performance impact of incentive programs and sales challenges.
    • Measure revenue lift generated by activations and merchandising initiatives.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations for program optimization.
    Executive Reporting & Forecasting
    • Translate complex data into concise executive-ready insights.
    • Support revenue forecasting and risk identification.
    • Develop scenario modeling for growth planning.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field
    • 3–7 years of experience in sales analytics, retail analytics, or channel performance
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, modeling)
    • Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar) preferred
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
    • Ability to communicate insights clearly to senior leadership
    • Experience in prepaid wireless, mobility distribution, or multi-location retail preferred
    • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred
    • Understanding of attach rate metrics, inventory rotation, and district-level retail dynamics preferred
    • Analytical rigor and attention to detail
