Chadwell Animal Hospital, established in 2003, is a busy small animal and exotics practice located in Abingdon, Maryland, just 30 minutes north of Baltimore. Our 7,500 square foot facility offers separate dog, cat, and exotic wards, as well as the ability to conduct radiographs, endoscopy, and ultrasound services.
Chadwell Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Veterinary Assistant to join our growing practice.
We are a busy, multi-doctor general practice that provides care for not only dogs and cats, but also birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, hedgehogs, and other exotic pets. We also support local wildlife rehabilitation efforts, giving our team unique opportunities to work alongside experienced veterinary professionals caring for a wide variety of species.
Whether you're new to veterinary medicine or already have experience in the field, we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys helping people and animals, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $15–$21 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for overtime.
