CGP: Staff/Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantLos Angeles, CA • Contract • $32/HR to $44/HR • 07/10/2026Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $32.00 to $44.00 per hour.Job Responsibilities:Support year end close activities by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting financial documentation.Assist with audit processes by responding to requests and providing required records and analysis.Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Maintain accounting records and support general ledger activities as needed.Generate reports and assist with financial projects to support the accounting team during key reporting periods.Requirements:Previous experience within accounting roles at the staff or senior accountant level.Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting processes.Prior experience supporting year end close and external audit activities.Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced data analysis functions.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.Qualifications:Nonprofit accounting experience.Familiarity with financial management systems used within nonprofit or service organizations.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to research discrepancies.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and auditors.REF #52563 #LI-DD1 #Ind-LA/OC#J-18808-Ljbffr
