Role Snapshot
Picture your shift: you sync with the supervisor, scan the master sanitation program, and huddle the team. A new associate is shadowing you today—you’ll coach them on our SOPs and cGMPs, watch them run through a cleaning sequence, and verify they follow each step exactly. You liaise with Production to time equipment changeovers, label each cleaned asset with a clean-status tag and expiration, and double-check that the department’s program books are completed accurately. If the supervisor steps away, you steady the ship—assigning work, confirming completion, and communicating updates across departments. Throughout, you model safe practices, uphold company policies, and keep an eye on quality and throughput.
What You’ll Do
- Train associates and confirm understanding/adherence to SOPs and cGMPs.
- Partner with the production department to support sanitation needs and timing.
- Communicate effectively with the supervisor and cross-functional associates.
- Ensure timely, thorough completion of the master sanitation program.
- Verify assigned tasks are completed and standards are met.
- Audit the department’s program books for accuracy and completeness.
- Label cleaned equipment with identification indicating clean status and the expiration of that status.
- Lead the department in the supervisor’s and/or manager’s absence.
- Follow company policies and procedures and maintain reliable attendance.
- Demonstrate personal responsibility for safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
- At least 2 years in a packaging line environment, with hands-on time as a Line Runner or Lead.
- Proven leadership, initiative, and the drive to perform in a dynamic setting with multiple demands.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred (or working Spanish knowledge).
- Ability to guide teams in a participative yet decisive way; collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Comfort partnering with the supervisor to design and implement effective workplace programs and solutions.
- Poised, confident, and effective when interacting with supervisors and support groups.
- Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to monitoring work.
Physical Requirements
Light physical effort for activities such as walking and standing at a workstation. Significant mental/visual effort to ensure documentation accuracy. Near vision to read letters and numbers on paper documents. Ability to talk with and hear colleagues while performing job duties.
