cGMP Bottling, Capping & Labeling Line Lead
Location: Mount Prospect, IL
Shift: 1st, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Pay: $24–$27 hourly (DOE)
Kelly is hiring a Line Lead to run non-sterile liquid filling and packaging operations in a regulated environment. If you love driving results, coaching teams, and keeping quality front and center, this is your next step.
Why this role matters
- Deliver safe, compliant, and efficient production on non-sterile liquid lines.
- Be the go-to for line setup, material readiness, and equipment checks.
- Protect product integrity through vigilant monitoring of fill accuracy, torque, and labeling.
- Keep the floor moving—coordinate changeovers, cleaning, and line clearance.
- Minimize downtime by troubleshooting minor mechanical issues.
- Lead people—assign tasks, guide operators and temps, and train new hires.
- Own the paperwork—production records, equipment logs, and cleaning documentation.
- Flag issues early—perform routine quality checks and alert Quality/Management.
- Continuously improve—boost efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure cGMP, SOP, FDA, and safety compliance at all times.
Must-haves
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years in a regulated production setting (pharma, biotech, food) preferred.
- Hands-on experience with liquid filling, bottling, packaging, capping, or labeling equipment strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with cGMP, quality systems, and manufacturing documentation.
- Leadership presence, clear communication, and strong organization.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable wearing PPE: safety glasses, gloves, hairnets, gowns.
- Bilingual Spanish–English applicants are encouraged to apply (not required).
